Google updating?
 

There must be some serious shifting going on. Several of my sites jumped in the SERPS so high, I'm literally getting pounded with traffic. :upsidedow

I noticed a influx of traffic too..I thought they just updated last month?

man I was getting hit hard and couldn't think of why =)

DAMN, i noticed a big drop in google traffic, I hope it fixes itself back to how it was even a few days ago :mad:

I knew something had to be up, my site went from #1 ranking in it's category to #4... and another site went from #3 ranking to PAGE 4... :(

maybe they did update

google updates constantly. you think they do all their updating all at once? think about it. and think about computer processing power, etc.

yea, I have the same problem, normally I use 20-30 mbps, lately it's been up to 80-90mbps, if this continues I'll have to start redirecting those google surfers...

Yeah def updated. Had a few go down, and a few go up. Hope to have good results once it is done moving everything around this much.

PR updates don't happen that often.

PR showed in tool say nothing about traffic You can get from google

I think PR is due to update in the next few days

Try Matt Cutts' blog - he is Googles head of quality and usually posts when they are doing a major change to the algo - they do currently update every day so not surprising that people see changes. More importantly if you read his blog, you will find out that they are doing some major renovation with results that have added some 16 billion new pages to the index
