anyone using this software anyone have any experiences with their support?

purchased the software and installation 2 weeks ago submitted multiple support tickets and haven't heard shit left a few messages on their machine to a few times that i called the mail box was full so their obviously checking the messages....

anyone have a contact there that i could get in touch with?

jacked 01-23-2006 07:05 PM

bump i know someone here knows something about these fuckers...

chupachups 01-23-2006 07:08 PM

Well sorry, but maybe that is what you get for 99 bucks;( I still think its worth it though.

jacked 01-23-2006 07:10 PM

it's for a mainstream product and figured that would be the easiest solution until we could get something custom done

what other affiliate backends are out there that you guys recommend?

chupachups 01-23-2006 07:13 PM

I would say many of the "smaller" mainstream systems suck donkey, and that Idev is one of the better ones, although the price is ultra low. If you have the possibility - custom code your own instead. Its more work, but you get something streamlined that will work much better in the end....

jacked 01-23-2006 07:16 PM

yeah i figured that much out of the ones i came across iDev looked to be the most promising i guess i'll just have to deal with it until i can get one custom coded to meet our needs...

still would be nice if the assholes answered their support tickets 2 weeks is way to long to be waiting after purchasing the software especially considering that i paid for them to install it to i guess they figure i'll want it installed sometime next year... pisses me off that a lot of these companies do this shit...

chupachups 01-23-2006 07:19 PM

Try to get hold of some russian WM to write you a letter :)

jacked 01-23-2006 07:32 PM

yeah gonna have to find someone to code this for me.. i've got a couple of buddies who are good with it i don't know if they done anything like this before they write custom shopping cart software for companies i'm sure this can't be all that different... i'm lost when it comes to programming

jacked 01-23-2006 07:46 PM

gonna try and give their support a call again maybe i'll catch someone i can't believe this shite...

Have you used it for doing an affiliate system? Or do you have any other recommendations? That's a serious question.

Thx

i have used x-cart with a customized version of their affiliate module. it worked well but like i said, we had our guy customize it, so i dont know if the unmodded module would have worked the same.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you having problems with?

yea, I've worked with it, I don't really know any other affil software in that price range.... it's not terrible, but you just get what you pay for, don't expect too much from it...
