Early last December, legendary Hawaiian singer Don Ho who was at death's door had an experimental stem cell heart treatment in Thailand. The treatment isn't allowed in the U.S. yet for some unknown reason.

Little over a month later, Don Ho is now back on stage jammin' to the crowds!

What this says so far is the treatment appears to be a success. If long lasting it means a major leap forward for medical treatment with stem cells.

Who knows the possible applications! It's worth to keep an eye out as investment opportunities will surely spring up.

Well in this case it wasn't 'embryonic' stem cells. It was a technique where they used his own blood to create stem cells. Quite a major step in medicine.

If the same technique can rejuvinate heart cell tissue, theoretically it can do the same for all tissues including brain, pancreas, lung etc.

It would be amazing if it could do the same for skin tissue thus eradicating skin aging and deteriorization.

What I know that it says many times in the bible that stem cell research is wrong...:error How about doing what is best for the people?

good to see there making advances in this medical field, i don't know to much about it but i've heard that it's the next major step in curing a lot serious illness' such as certain types of cancer.

Find me Seperation of Church and State in any Government document please. There isnt any mention of it. What you are referring to is a mis-enterpreted letter sent by Thomas Jefferson to the Baptist convention to soothe their fears of a State sponsored Church, but hey continue to parrot the mininformation that is constantly spewed by the lefties. lol

Jacked, the big argument is regarding 'embryonic' stem cells.

There's a difference.

Embryonic stem cells are made when a fertilized human egg cell begins to grow. It is halted and the stem cells, the basic building blocks of all our organs and such are harvested. The argument there is it's ending a human life to harvest cells.

On the other hand, stem cells can be harvested from several other ways according to scientists and those tests and applications are under way. In this case with Don Ho, the stem cells were gathered from his blood cells or so the story goes. Whether that's true or not only an investigation will conclude.

Bottom line is, stem cells work. It's the biggest breakthrough in medical history so far. If applied correctly, theoretically it could probably repair any number of damages to the body. Perhaps even cure alzheimer's or grow new limbs to trauma victims. The proof is in the pudding here because we know for a fact Don Ho was close to death and in less than a month he's on stage and jammin'. That says a lot and calls for further study.

Just think, curing blindness or old age. Amazing.
