How detailed are you about tracking expenses/earnings?

Do you keep track of stuff like how much $$ per click each sponsor is worth to you, or go as far as using sponsor tracking codes for everything and track how much each of your domains does per month and how many GB's each domain burns to know how many sales or how much $$ you make per GB? Or do you just care about the month's total bottom line and fuck the rest even if you're promoting 100 sponsors across 100 domains? And what about expenses, do you break design or content or whatever expense per domain so that you know when each site has paid for itself or do you track all the expenses together?

Please share. :pimp

Cool I use excel too, but I wanted to know the level of detail you guys get down to. :)

I track exact keywords and their cost per click versus the value per click that I get from them. I was a bit over 60% gross profit last week.

Tracking everything in as much detail as possible is the only way to go unless you dont mind being in the dark about your money. :helpme

I use statsremote, well actually my license expired yesterday and now that I'm tracking everything down to the last detail in excel I'm not sure if I'm gonna renew SR..

I track everything because it makes the bottom line bigger each month! But then I'm a newb.

That's one of the uses, but that goes down the toilet when the sponsor doesn't offer tracking codes or shows the referring sale url. :disgust
