AMD TURION or INTEL CENTRINO

hi guys i currentley have a centrino laptop but im thinknig of getting a new one. Ive heard they currently released a new processor AMD turion and the clerck at the store said its really good. Does anyone know anything about it and which one would you suggest to get? i had no problems with centrino run great.any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Turion is a central processing unit. Centrino is a technology. Get it straight :2 cents:
