DXSTAR.COM - New Adult Search Engine Beta2 Release [Announcement]
I'm proud to announce beta 2 release of dxStar.com - the adult search engine. dxStar.com is a brand new web site targeted to provide relevant search results to adult audience on the Internet.
This release is the first "public" release which means that we feel it?s pretty stable and ready to be put out to real-world test. Along many of its features I would like to point out main once: - Search performed in three main categories: image galleries, video galleries and web sites.
- Gallery results can be viewed in one of three different ways: normal (text & thumbs), thumbnails & text only results and sorted by best matches (most relevant results), new & popular galleries.
- Web sites have only one view option which is text only and can be sorted by best matches (most relevant to a search query), by rank and by popularity, based on user clicks.
- Basic user preferences include control how clicked link should open (in a new window or in the same window), results open in a new window by default. Keyword suggestion tool. It pops up beneath top search field and suggests additional most popular search keywords. This feature is on by default.
- Organic spell checker, a hint that may suggest other popular keywords similar to entered query, especially for a low count of result for a provided search term.
- Word stemming, searches through variations of any given words. Ex: search/searches/searched
- Dynamic search result descriptions, compiled on the fly to show best matching examples of text from a page.
We're also building webmaster section, some of its features are being tested and I will announce them as soon as they're released. I consider webmaster area a huge project on its own, so we've decided to release one feature/service at a time.
The first service is a free link submission, the highlight of this service is that provided links are checked and indexed in real-time. You don't have to wait for days to find out weather your link was accepted or declined. If you get a decline, you will know the reason or at very least an idea to why it happened (I?m saying this only because it?s after all beta release and unexpected may occur). Accepted pages appear almost instantly in our SERPs.
We understand that dxstar.com is ongoing project, there a lot of work, testing and tweaking to be done in the future. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, be assured that your feedback will be highly appreciated and taken very seriously, this I believe will make it a very useful and profitable project for the whole adult industry.
Also, I would like to mention that this release comes with clean database, indexing was turned on last Thursday, so there may not be many results at first but it gives a "bonus" watching the database grow as well as web sites rank change as more pages are being indexed. It's exciting to watch it grow; I hope you will get a kick out of it too :thumbsup
