Anyone ever get an old-school (early 90's) convertible top fixed?
It's a 1992 Ford Mustang and the top won't come down when you press the button for it to go down.
All that happens is an audible click in the back. Looking into buying a fun cheap project car, but I'm curious on whether or not this is a really expensive thing to fix. Been searching all over Google with no luck... Anyone know about how much this'll cost to fix (estimation) ? |

You can raise and lower it manually, but you will have to disconnect the motor from the top first.

There is normally a release valve to allow you to manually move it. Look around back by the motor in the trunk, or under the black covering that hides the hydraulics etc. |

I would; just the same as when cassettes first came out, 8 tracks were old school after a bit. :thumbsup |
