Need Advice re: Car Dealer Service Dept. is Jerking Me Around!
 

My brand new car had one of its computers go out and this service dept. is completely jerking me around by making me pay for a loaner car (will probably be for a week). They are supposedly "out" of cars. Any suggestions?

It's a BMW 5 series.

Damn, that's messed up. The BMW dealership here would give you a free loaner no matter what during warranty work.

If it is their policy to provide you with a loaner car and they are out, they should pay the bill for the rental

That was my experience in the past as well. This is not the dealership where I bought the car.

Call BMW Group directly and see what they can do.

That's what I keep telling them. Their response: we're out of loaner cars until Feb. 10. :disgust

They would have probably given you a 7-series loaner if you had :1orglaugh

If you did they would have pulled a 760i off the showroom for you :winkwink:
