Which of these dogs should I buy? (pics)

I'm going to be buying a puppy in the next few weeks. I like these 3 breeds equally after doing extensive research over the past 2 years. I hope I can find a homeless one to adopt but unless its the pitbull, it won't be easy. Which do you think I should get?

#1 Bull Terrier

Bull teriers are the shit man.

MaDalton 01-21-2006 12:22 PM

they're equally ugly :2 cents:

EdgeXXX 01-21-2006 12:23 PM

That's a tough choice. I like all 3

Decadawn 01-21-2006 12:23 PM

you don't "buy" a dog, you "adopt" a dog.

;)

I want to adopt but my #1 and #2 choices are very elusive to adopt.

Adult-biz 01-21-2006 12:28 PM

All three dogs are great breeds.

Go for the one that needs rescuing. :)

Wiggles 01-21-2006 12:29 PM

English bulldog for sure!

pornguy 01-21-2006 12:29 PM

Some purebred dogs like what you are looking at, are so inbred that it is sick. You really may want to look into adopting just anything.

We have two dogs.
A pure bred akita, and a mutt. the mutt is far more loving, and smart, and playful.

Basic_man 01-21-2006 12:30 PM

Hooooooo, the English Bulldog is sooo cute !

amandaspost 01-21-2006 12:32 PM

English Bulldog!!!

xNetworx 01-21-2006 12:32 PM

Is this a face only a mother (or father) could love?

Get all 3... hell they are all really cool. Having 1 is like having a kid, so might as well raise them all at once.

Brad Gosse 01-21-2006 12:34 PM

#2, the bulldog has character :)

But they are all cute

not sure about the bulldog, but the bull terrier and the pitbull are forbidden in Germany after some kids were ripped apart by them. i know, it all depends on how they are raised and treated, but deep in there they are killer machines.

Raven 01-21-2006 12:37 PM

English Bulldog for sure.

I'd go with #1 ... :thumbsup

Niko Bimini 01-21-2006 12:39 PM

Dave you and I have talked about this and you know my choice, Bull terrrier for sure.

Although I must admit te English Bull dog is an awsum dog! My dad had one when I was growing up and it was a great family dog!

Take #3 out of it, its no competition with the other 2. :2 cents:

Donny 01-21-2006 12:39 PM

What you'll find is that a pitbull precludes you from many many things. One thing: most insurance companies won't cover them, so if you ever want to own or rent a home you may not want to get the Pit.

I know this because my cousin was going to move in with me for awhile but couldn't because insurance would not cover the property at all if Pit Bulls resided on it.

Veterans Day 01-21-2006 12:42 PM

english...

Manowar 01-21-2006 12:42 PM

the bulldog!

xNetworx 01-21-2006 12:57 PM

One more.. I think these dogs are so funny

http://www.ironkennel.com.ar/hijos%2...ola/ozzy02.jpg

Adaml2 01-21-2006 01:12 PM

bull terriers are stubborn as fuck

a pit always needs the affection/acceptance of its master and would probably be a lot easier to train. i'd go for the pit but be sure to socialize it as much as you can, esp early on.

chazer 01-21-2006 01:22 PM

get the bull terrier

hova 01-21-2006 01:23 PM

the bulldog, they are so cool

This is very true. Also, they must be registered in most major citys, some citys ban them all together and you not allowed to take them to most local dog parks.

Plus, if you ever DO have a problem where it attacks another animal or person, they nail your ass to the wall for it.

lilspup 01-21-2006 01:47 PM

English Bulldog

Vitasoy 01-21-2006 01:49 PM

I'd go with the #1 Bull Terrier

Spunky 01-21-2006 01:49 PM

I like the English Bulldog..now they have character

DutchTeenCash 01-21-2006 01:51 PM

depends how fast you wanna see your dog split a kid in two, if you want that within 6 months Id go for a pitbull

casinoguy 01-21-2006 01:52 PM

I crazzy about English Bulldog
I am really thinking about buy one

psili 01-21-2006 01:54 PM

I'd say 1 or 2.
At least where I'm at (Colorado), people are getting busted for their pitbulls mauling people.

Yea, yea yea, people says "it's all about the owner". But really, if you do get number 3, at least make sure it came from a long, long line of friendlies. You can't just teach "be nice" to a dog bred from a line of dogs bred to be mean.

Violetta 01-21-2006 03:32 PM

nr 2! :thumbsup

IamShaider 01-21-2006 03:41 PM

i'd go with the english bulldog :thumbsup , a lhasa apso would be nice too

SilverTab 01-21-2006 03:44 PM

Bull terrier are scary!..

fucked up dogs! they look so mean...

viki 01-21-2006 03:45 PM

Those English Bulldogs are cute in pictures, but they perpetually snort/grunt/snore. It sounds like the dog is having a permanent asthma attack.

Aww man, that's kinda messed up. No one in their right mind tells the insurance company certain details. Your cousin must not have inherited the smart gene from your side of the family.

Get the pit... and don't be stupid like Donny's cousin.

PimpDaddyPants 01-21-2006 04:50 PM

Deffinately go with the Bull Terrier.... They come in different colors as well.

Gardner 01-21-2006 05:46 PM

Go with the Bull Terrier it kinds looks like Spuds Mackenzie...However if you had a rottie in the line up I would have gone with that no question..Ive had pits over the years and they do make great pets, loyal and smart as hell..but ultimatly the choise is yours

Farang 01-21-2006 05:54 PM

Pitbull is a good choice :thumbsup

UtahSaints 01-21-2006 05:56 PM
