Good news

Not only is the pirate liable. The AVS and the host and everyone else who profiits.
This will make it easier for APIC to kick arse. |
HAHA, Gary, you've got to admit: that's pretty funny :1orglaugh

It may be good news for better enforcement of copyright protection but what I see is a company that may in the end have a very hard time continuing to make $. They are heading down the same path as Penthouse if they continue to fight the adult webmaster.
The best thing they should do is open their site up to an affiliate program so that webmasters can legally use their images to promote their site, if not they will soon be forgotten with little to no exposure on the web. and what exposure they do get on their own is going to cost them lots of $. Affiliate program = Thousands of dollars of free advertising. It seems like many of the "Pre Internet" adult companies are fighting change instead of seeing the huge opportunity that's sitting right in front of them! :thumbsup To Hustler they got it right. |

It's great news for the internet, because without this happening the Internet is dead as a means of making money. If you think anyone can go to a newstand pickup a magazine and scan his content from it and say this is "ANYMAGAZINE.COM" Then put up a site and this benefits the net you are very wrong. Because if you send the magazines out of business a large proportion of the quality images will go, because you just cannot shoot quality for $30 a set. Then when streaming comes properly available buy a video and just stick it up and who cares. Put all the content on an AVS or freesite and what the heck, it was free. The production line will soon dry up. Bottom line is PERFECT 10 paid for that content and that makes it theirs to do with as THEY choose and not as the TGP and AVS site owners decide. All we want you to do is pay for it, if you do not make enough money to pay for it, that's your problem and does not allow you to decide what is best for some one else. |
stop selling content to tgp and the bizz will be better :)

Yikes. I think you totally misunderstood my point. 1. I do not like content theives. 2. I do not approve of all the free content on the net. What I meant was if companies like perfect 10 and penthouse make all adult webmasters their enemy by not choosing to have an affiliate program they are only screwing themselves in the end. Right now who do you think makes more $ from their members site? Lensman with Amateur Pages or Perfect 10?????? Quote:

There will always be a market for quality content, just as there will always be a market for "amatuer" $30 per set content (ESPECIALLY on the internet). Quote:

You do not see the point.
It is not up to you to tell Perfect 10 how to run their business. This guy just took their pictures and posted them. And as for bullying, it has to be requested that the offending images are removed a long time before it gets to court. APIC has had a lot of trouble with AVS companies who basically ignore requests to remove offending sites. Everyone in this case would have been served a legal notice, DMCA, requesting the removal of the site. They chose to ignore it and came unstuck. The bottom line is a lot of some companies totally ignore warnings thinking they are immune. If we can remove them it will leave the internet a better place for real businesses to make real money. Shiana more power to you for reporting pirates, but you can not tell Perfect 10 what is best for them. They run their business their way and if they choose to be elitist and do not want their images all over the net. That is their decision and anyone who goes against it and does not comply with a warning and lets it get to court can not turn around and say Perfect 10 are bullies. SykkBoy2 The last thing I consider myself as is a quality shooter, in fact no where near it. Just a guy who knows how to aim a camera. We can easily shoot quick and easy for the internet, in fact now with the digital camera that is exactly what we will do. What I will not do is shoot pornstars as amateurs or teens in full make up, looking 20+. |

We seem to be on two totally different levels here. I agree 100% with you on the copyright issues. I am also not telling anyone how to run their business they are the ones choosing their own fate. I am simply calling it how I see it. If they choose to continue down the path the are headed "I believe" they wont last long. It's my opinion and I have the right to it. The internet has turned many adult webmasters into millionaires. Q. How many adult companies can blame their demise on the internet? A. Only the ones without affiliate programs to promote their PAYSITES Any experienced webmasters knows that if he is going to open an paysite he NEEDS the webmaster affiliate program to be able to successfully compete with all the other sites out there. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/bus...00/1917688.stm In my eyes they are headed down this same path. |
theres alot of shit google shouldnt list, but no one complains about the illegal shit, theyre more concerned about celeb pics, sad days these are...
|
This is what I love about these type of people...
They fight for every right they can, but they still profit on teen ponytails and fantasy teen haha.... yeah... http://tour.macandbumble.com/perfect.html Not saying this illegal in any way, I just always see the pig tails as a definite "preteen" fantasy, how many 18+ girls wear pig tails? |
