Something just ain't right about all that.

Everytime I DJ I feel bad playing Suicide Blonde even though it is a great song.

Um..Its The End Of The World As We Know it is an R.E.M. song and that is Micheal Stipe (whose death will be one of the few celebs I cry over when it happens)

selena 01-21-2006 12:20 PM

I still have the hots for him.

Just bought the Live Baby Live DVD over the holidays so that I could turn the munchkin on to them.

I can't listen to that song anymore.

Sarah, do you get VH-1 Classic in the UK? They had a show on with INXS where the group commented on their different videos and live performances. You could tell that it was hard for them to look back, because of Michael being gone. I still can't believe he's gone and its almost been a decade.

Happy Birthday in heaven, Michael. You are missed, darling.

Well Said, he was the ultimate Rock God, i remember reading something about Michael, about how he was like by both males and females and they said:

Females wanted to have sex with him and males wanted to be like him, how very true, what a life he had.

The rumor is that it wasn't suicide. It was auto-erotic asphyxiation gone wrong. He had been drinking and drugging heavily the entire night with friends. They left and then he decide to 'get off'. He was hanging from the door knob when the maid found him. I think he passed out while masturbating.

There's also this story:

Other contributed dirt:
Michael Hutchence didn't commit suicide. Paula's claims that he died of 'sexual misadventure' were accurate. The police found him with a belt around his neck and a broom handle up his ass. The whole auto-erotic asphyxiation thing. He had slipped and it was either impale himself or strangle. Out of respect for his family (because it was such a embarrassing way to die), the police called it a suicide and the press simply didn't want to touch the story with a ten-foot cattleprod. I got the story from an Australian policeman who was at the scene and it was confirmed by my ex, an Australian journalist that it was, indeed, tragic (and a bit gross) but true.

People seem to forget the pressure he was under at the time with that fuck Bob Geldof and the tour that he should never havce gone on at the time, he was under huge pressure with many things.

We do have VH1 Classic but I am not sure if we had that show. I couldn't watch that thing where they tried to find a new singer because it didn't feel right. That said, I have long been interested in seeing the sets Terrance Trent Darby did as the lead singer.

Suicide Blonde is odd to listen to now not only because of him but because of Paula (nuts that she was).

tristan_D 01-22-2006 06:21 PM

I salute the dude. no matter how many Rockstar they come up no one can ever strut his stuff
