ICRA Question
The ICRA isn't too hard to use, but is there a way to apply it for a whole site like robots.txt for example ? One ratings file for the domain rather than every single page ?

I figure you should just do your main points or entry or main domain name.

The whole point of the ratings is to flag site content as adult. If your pages are accessible through outside links (SE, backlinks, etc...), then all pages need the ratings. Brujah, I don't know the features of all the filters. The lower end ones definitely do not have the ability to check the main HTML page or a .txt to apply a rating to the entire domain. You could do a PHP include if you wanted the rating code in a central file. |
The browsers will check specific pages for meta's but considering the importance of these ratings, it would be great if they would check a global ratings file like crawlers do with robots.txt.
I think there's room in the market for this kind of thing to be established. |
