Why is ISprime hosting so expensive?
 

I was looking for a dedicated server, and isprime came to mind first cause they are obviously one of the best. But why the hell it's so expensive there?

A good hosting company means more than the server specs and bandwith.

Quality costs, and if your serious about your online business your best choice is to go with a higher end host. Costs more but well worth the money

and check the location rent factor.

42 minutes, and that was the first time in a year of hosting with them that I have been down.....and most of the people on here with accounts that are a few years old couldn't remember the last time they were down

yep same with isprime and I guarantee you get a nice cozy personal feel with the support at isprime which goes along way for me at 3am on xmas day when I bug the shit out of them :)

you will never leave them. their support is that fucking good. imagine getting an email BEFORE a problem exists, so you can prevent it. HD space is getting filled, RAM is going overboard, etc... it boggles my mind how they do it.

i have been with so many hosts, and only maybe 1 or 2 other hosts are even in the same league as them.

They are great, all isprime staff are equipped with special computer watches, so even if they are in the bathroom, they can work on your server.

Also ISPRIME is the best host in the world and I had many servers at different places and I really know what I am talking about, also their support rocks (hi guys ;) )

if you don't know who flying croc is you're a noob. i only do free sites so i wouldn't pay their prices. but it was the only host i never had any issues with.

I wanted to learn more about the reasons.

Are they using top notch equipment? Are they using premium network pipes? Is it the kickass support? Etc, etc..

i've seen hosting companies with nice websites go under...

theplanet is pretty decent all around. i use them for one of my servers and have never had any problems, not even once "i dont use it for adult related material though"

Equipment-->All DELL. They also have tons of Dell parts in stock. When you need additional ram, HDD's etc, they have it done in minutes....

Premium network pipes-->one of the best lines for sure. Also bgp4+ routing. Simply amazing

We have one server with them, quite expensive compared to other hosts.

But all support issues I have sent them have been replied in less then 15 minuttes.

I remember ISPRIME from when they were working out of Jersey City back in the day. They have come along way.

When we switched to isprime, our bill went down and we were also using more bandwidth.
