IE "status bar on bottom" always dissapears
 

Anybody have a clue or workaround?

yeah i know that i did that already shit keeps on happenng

Is it set to auto hide?

Close all windows but one
make sure the status-bar is there
press and hold "shift"
Close the window by clicking on the "x" (and while keeping "shift" pressed down)

Be a real webmaster and switch to Firefox :winkwink:

Check the box show status bar. Close your browsers, open the browser and see if it's there...If so, close again, restart...

Sounds strange, worked for me :D
