low sales? + Design critique
 

Has anyone been experiencing a pretty sharp decline in sales this pay period? I am doing really shitty with Bang Bros and Nasty Dollars plus quite a few others including Hustler. I am beginning to fear that maybe it is my new design but I would like to give it more time. I am open to any critiques of my new design/layout. See sig.

if you want to sell sex, you got to show the surfer some pictures. Why should they click your links? do you think they get teased by the text? Throw some thumbs in there

This period does seem a bit slow to me.

I would suggest a good screen cap of the first page of the tour for each paysite & a link to a gallery for each site.

Things have been a bit slower, but not by much. And I agree that you need to show some skin on the site. At least some teaser stuff. Other than that it is nice and clean.

If there are no pictures to go along with it, they will never click a link. Claiming otherwise is narrow minded thinking and downright idiocy

Not that I really have any room to critisize b/c my sales have bit the big one it seems, but I agree-the design is nice and simple and uncluttered, but you gotta give them some visual of what to expect. I know with the 2257 regs people are reluctant to use pics, but just be selective with what content you use, and if you're a member of the FSC you're in good shape, anyway.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems some like it/some hate it. I am going to put up some softcore pics even though I have done fairly well before with just text. This whole war on porn thing has got me paranoid about putting anything remotely hardcore up. As far as text goes, it doesn't so much tease as much as it informs. It is a review site, not a text tgp.

the site is pretty bland. Yes we all know text sells but you might want to add a few screenshots or pics to get interest. Telling a sufer that some hottie is spreading pink will get some attention for sure but SHOWING them a thumb
will definately get clicks. Once they click then you can add the text for the sale. :2 cents: :thumbsup

I think that is kind of an idiotic statement. I have use just text before and had very good sales. I know quite a few review sites and blogs that just use text and make decent money.

you design is plain man, spice it up with pics, and banners

Text brings far more clicks than banners for sure. If you DO use content, make sure it's very nice quality, since they will associate your content quality with what the paysite offers. But it's not needed.

There's no pics on Adwords is there?

i really like the simple layout and design but jesus you have no samples at all to wet their appetite.

it is always like this. back up your words with content and your content with words. trust me it will get you a lot more.

Oh, i love the old design, too! I don't think having a pic in the header is what people mean though. They mean an example of what the particular site you are reviewing offers.
