Here's my tips:

use LOTS of hidden text in the footer of your page. Try to get keyword density to a minimum of 30% and fill your METAs with at least 30 occurances of your key phrase

It's more beneficial to have google find your site by being linked to by a site regularly visited by Google's Spider than to submit it to google via the submission form.

Stop pretending you know anything about SEO. Your skills are working together with other people - not SEO. Link building is less than 10% of SEO.

SEO is a strategy, not meta-tags + content + links

It's all so simple that it's ridiculous.

Be the best source of information on a topic. Write well, be informative and factual. Offer practical advice. Focus on a single topic and back up your information with relevent links out and relevant links in.

Rinse.

Repeat.

If all else fails - mail a 10 spot wrapped inside a number 10 envelope (make sure you wrap one layer of aluminum foil around it). Write your URL above the serial number on the front. If it won't fit, then that's THE problem - as Google hates long URLs.
