What ONLINE brokerage sites do you use to trade with...

and what are the good points about it?

LauraLee 01-19-2006 10:48 AM

I use E-trade. I don't know if it's the best per say, and i am sure there are other places that are cheaper.. but i am happy with them. I have not had a single problem or issue.
$12.99 a trade.

Are you going to invest in guido paraphernalia?

EroticySteve 01-19-2006 10:54 AM

The online brokerage sites are all about equal.

dennisthemenace 01-19-2006 11:04 AM

We use Ameritrade - got in on some 25 trades free or something deal.

Sosa 01-19-2006 12:22 PM

ameritrade here.

I Like Chocolate 01-19-2006 12:30 PM

I use Ameritrade. $10 a trade.

Scott Trade is also very good. It's $7 a trade I think.

davethetruth 01-19-2006 12:32 PM

I use sharebuilder and it sucks ass.

Ameritrade is the way to go. What you want to do is put 2k in your account and you get unlimited free trades.

Furious_Male 01-19-2006 12:33 PM

Ameritrade. I just moved my etrade account over to Ameritrade because I didnt like Etrades idle account fees.

Ameritrade has decent tools and fast trade execution. I don't count on them for research though.

How do you get unlimited trades?

Oh, I made a mistake, it's like $9 a trade. I could've sworn they had some deal like that but I guess not.

e*trade here, going to be switching to my local banks trading service. I'm more of a passive investor and don't trade frequently and e*trade hit me up with some really outrageous inactivity fees.

Holy shit this same dam thing has happened to me, no one over there will pick up the phone. Juicy, I use Metastock and like it because the trading signals make sense to me visually.

Just started using ShareBuilder. I like it so far.

If anyone is interested I just brought home a buttload of trading ebooks for my store.

Watch out for hidden fees from places like etrade and ameritrade. I use scottrade and it's fine but I don't like that L2 quotes cost extra if you have less than $25k in your account.
