Can you post comments to your own blog without getting the SE's upset?
 

I was wondering if you could use anather e-mail address and username to post comments to your own blog. I've always had pretty good conversations with myself

se's don't care who you are or are pretending to be.

But won't the SE see your IP ? I read that Google gives a lower rank to sites that are run under the same IP if a webmaster links to many of them to the same page so wouldn't posting under your own IP have the same result?

create multiple personalities on GFY, brand them, and start fake drama between them and then sell their sigs...

The average poster on GFY make more from their signature than from all their websites, for the few that actually got a website :thumbsup
