I started in this business on the PPC side and quickly switched over to PPS. It was more profitable from my approach. Now I'm not saying PPS is better than PPC, just for my approach it was.

Have wealthy people over to your house (or boat) for the weekend, then call in favors under pressure of making them look ungrateful.
