I don't know what happend. Firefox has been crashing atleast 2 times everyday. It started like 2-3 weeks ago.

Does it crash more for you too since the new version came out?

DutchTeenCash 01-18-2006 08:13 AM

yes get the old one way better

KRL 01-18-2006 08:16 AM

1.5 is stable for me.

Tat2Jr 01-18-2006 08:17 AM

Stable for me too.

Gasper 01-18-2006 08:19 AM

1.5 works fine here :2 cents:

mattyboy 01-18-2006 08:26 AM

Works fine except i can't print anything from FF now. IE works fine for printing :(

Mefo 01-18-2006 08:41 AM

jup same here, I went back to the old version

Gerco 01-18-2006 08:42 AM

at least 3 crashes a day... almost always when I goto google to search for something....

chase 01-18-2006 08:43 AM

I have issues with it too. Try running it in safe mode; if no more crashes, it's something in your profile..most likely an extention.

HorseShit 01-18-2006 08:44 AM

My 1.5 never crashes

EdgeXXX 01-18-2006 08:47 AM

Glad I never upgraded.

adamneve 01-18-2006 09:02 AM

don't use it anymore, to slow and to many problems

Damian_Maxcash 01-18-2006 09:32 AM

Actually yes - the same for me

It just starts eating proc time (97%) and then dies after a few mins.

jscott 01-18-2006 10:06 AM

mine fucks up BAD about 2-3 times/day also, wtf is up with that, it used to be unstoppable!

MickeyG 01-18-2006 10:23 AM

Nismo 01-18-2006 10:38 AM

4Pics 01-18-2006 11:51 AM

Just switched to Opera FF crashed my MAC lap top which is hard to do. Something about a memory leak with FF :2 cents:

Pryda 01-18-2006 01:17 PM

it's working fine here

Hue G. Pness 01-18-2006 01:21 PM

I switched to Opera. FF has some memory leak issues.

tristan_D 01-18-2006 05:31 PM

yeah thats the only problem I have...100 000k memory use doesn't matter if I close a few tabs still the same. Pisses me off

woj 01-18-2006 05:38 PM

it's pretty solid, but it DOES crash after a while, as long you restart firefox every few hours it's fine...

DWB 01-18-2006 06:08 PM

you didn't get the memo?

yes... FF has been in the shitter for me as of late.

Loki 01-18-2006 06:38 PM

heres a question for ppl who have the crashes....

do you notice it happens more when there is "media" on a page, IE audio, video, etc?

Mine crashes ANYTIME I get a page with music or any kind of video embedded on it.
starting to piss me the fuck off!
