The Cult

I have been listening today to the band called The Cult, i dont remember them being so good, wow, some really good tracks. I watched a dvd last night of The Doors of the 21st century, the tour they never finished due to the death of Jim Morrison, the lead singer was Ian Astbury from The Cult, some fantastic stuff.

I still listen to the album "electric" by the cult, it is one of my favorite cd's of all time. If you like real bass / rythm guitar driven tight hard rock, you should really get that cd, every song is incredible. It is very similar sounding to the back in black album from ac/dc but way better in my opinion.

Saw'em Live here in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens New Years Eve during the Ceremony tour.

Ian had apparently already pissed Billy off at that point, and they didn't look like a happy band. Still, they rocked though. I had terrible seats. Lenny Kravitz opened up, and he was actually pretty good.

I have best-of CD of The Cult that I have not listened to in a long time. Maybe I'll play it in the car later.

I saw them in a concert sometime in the mid 90s.

I cant wait for Ian Astbury and the Doors to come back out here to australia, they were here last year and i missed out on seeing them.

I've been hearing them a good bit lately on Sirius First Wave.
I liked them OK, they weren't one of my big faves. Had one of their albums on vinyl back in the day.
