My cousin Howard is the only person I know that did it. Long time ago too.

xclusive 01-18-2006 05:50 AM

ddfGandalf 01-18-2006 05:55 AM

Miss Vlasta 01-18-2006 06:13 AM

Yes - taken it all apart and placed the pieces back again, the correct colors together :winkwink:

GFX Wiz 01-18-2006 06:17 AM

I used to be able to do it when I was a kid...there were several books out that showed how to solve it....and the books were right.

Didn't some kid just set the world record for solving it in like 13 seconds or some shit?

Veterans Day 01-18-2006 06:19 AM

the original was easy, hmm this one is well..........

Antonio 01-18-2006 06:24 AM

my brother and I used to do it quite fast when we were at school 9couple of minutes)

I tried few years ago and didn't go too far ;)

Screaming 01-18-2006 06:32 AM

my partner can beat one in under 3 mins

Quagmire 01-18-2006 06:57 AM

I have been able to complete it twice in my life and both times I was happily stoned. I think you need to be relaxed and focused to get the damn thing done. grass definately helps with that. Why else would stoners sit around for hours on end watching the teletubbies. Lost in the focus...

Holly 01-18-2006 07:06 AM

I could do it in just a few minutes when I was a kid. My cousin could too, and every holiday we sat and raced each other to see who was the fastest. My mom and dad have video of us doing it every Christmas, for years. There was also another kind that looked like chain links, but was a lot easier.

I haven't even seen one in a long time. I don't know if I could do one now.

Tom_PM 01-18-2006 07:28 AM

Yeah I got it down to minutes also way back when. We also had some sphere too. Been so long now, might have to get an original and see if the brain still has a few active cells that will cooperate.

DaddyHalbucks 01-18-2006 07:33 AM

Back in high school in the 1980s I could do it in a few minutes. I haven't had a Rubik's cube in a long time.

JayJay 01-18-2006 07:39 AM

This guy does it Blindfolded

WebairGerard 01-18-2006 07:43 AM

There is something about that damn cube that lures in and makes you want to try. That thing sold millions over the years!

The Demon 01-18-2006 08:31 AM

That shit takes me 2-3 hours tops. But then again I don't sit in front of my computer all day like some people..

Amnesic 01-18-2006 08:33 AM

I do the original 3x3 cube in 45 seconds, I dont really want to invest time in the 5x5

heh
