Global Geo Filtering IP software

I need a well known company to do mainstream Geo Filtering for Location identification.. Anyone have any experience with a company?

MaxMind is generally accurate. They do, however, on occasion pull a boner. For example, in the latest version of the City database some of the IANA reserved ip addresses were showing up as South Africa.
