How do I password protect folders on my desktop?

Maybe a silly question, but does windows have a built in solution for password protecting just one folder on my desktop?

Any help is appreciated guys and gals.

Thanks

Chris

I save all the files in a Compressed (zipped) Folder which has an "Add Password" feature. You have to extract all the files using the password to be able to open all the files.

Can't it just be cracked by bruteforce? I bet it would take a lot more than just 2 seconds to crack a password like "2aH!f4&vXq2%f".
