Is a visa necesary to go to Costa Rica?
 

too busy to look it up right now, but thought just came to my mind. i've traveled alot and the majority of the countries in that area do i believe. maybe depends how long you wanna stay.

they give you the " Visa " when you get there. its like mexico.

passporte dude, and yes, you should always have it when leaving the USA

North Americans and some of the dirty Europeans are automatically granted Visas on arrival. Other Central American countries, and even dirtier Europeans, need a Visa.

You don't need Visa just your passporte so no worries you are all set to come.

Last time I went to CR was in 1999/2000 - didnt need a visa or passport back then. Just a birth cert.

As of November 18, 2003, the Government of Costa Rica no longer permits foreign visitors (American citizens, among others), to enter the country without a valid passport.
