And browsing through some threads i see quite a few people saying they had their first sale with just 50 hits or hardly any hits sent.

Anyone else?

And more importantly...how are you doing after that first sale?

I did too, no referring url on it, and 800 hits later nothing else... I'm still sending but you're right, it is rather suspicious.

I got a sale after only a few hours of promoting them. Nothing unusual for me tho...but nothing since.

but u are not accounting for the guys who AREN'T posting on this thread (which are a ton of webmasters) who are actually, consistently, converting our sites..

Ok fair enough...and dont get me wrong i wasnt looking for anything going on or something...i just noticed this same trend in several threads and then i realized i had the same thing going on and then i asked 2 people on icq and they also had the same thing. Just too many people saying the same...

And lets be honest, its a well known "trick" that more sponsors pulled in the past. A quick signup to get people to send more traffic and then pull a mach3 on them.
