GFX Wiz 01-17-2006 08:52 AM

Low and mean...very impressive :thumbsup

Manowar 01-17-2006 08:53 AM

it looks beastlike

devilspost 01-17-2006 08:56 AM

Looks a little boxy to me even though I like the cargo space pic. I would go for a toyota but I dont care about how fast they go.

Screaming 01-17-2006 08:57 AM

I like it...

Trax 01-17-2006 08:59 AM

If i got to chose between a turbo and that it would be an easy choice
porsche all the way lol

gangbangjoe 01-17-2006 09:00 AM

sorry but please inform yourself more before making such a post

1. it has less hp then the cayenne turbo (CAYENNE TURBO =500hp)
2. it has more weight then the cayenne turbo

-------------------------------------------------
slower then the cayenne turbo

gangbangjoe 01-17-2006 09:02 AM

ah btw there is a new cayenne turbo S with 521 hp :winkwink

AmateurFlix 01-17-2006 09:14 AM

ugh... just buy a cube van, drop in a big block and put 20" wheels on it already

Marcus Aurelius 01-17-2006 09:16 AM

Pretty nice but not my thing.

Peaches 01-17-2006 09:16 AM

That front is so low to the ground there's no way you could actually go anywhere that needed 4WD :(

i always say: you can't compare "normal hp" with "porsche hp"

look at the stock porsche carrera 911: it has only 300 hp and does 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds

thats insane

Actually, the Jeep SRT-8 IS faster than a Cayenne Turbo . Horsepower and weight don't matter nearly as much as the powerband and correct gearing :winkwink:

It's fulltime all wheel drive. Not made for off road.

ElvisManson 01-17-2006 09:48 AM

If I was going for a performance truck or SUV I'd take the Dodge RAM SRT-10 way before the Jeep.

The 06 Cayenne get's a boost in power, 520hp now I think, but 0-60 was 4.8, still a hair slower. Thats the difference between N/A and F/I :winkwink:

Any car of similar weight with ~ 300hp should run high 13s and do 0-60 in the low 5s... "porsche hp"?? :1orglaugh

I know. We just got rid of our 4wd Passport that sat high enough we could take it offroad. The transmission had crapped out on it.

EdgeXXX 01-17-2006 10:31 AM

Personally, I like the Trailblazer SS

ArkansasDave 01-17-2006 11:09 AM

Looks like a nice 'car' until you get over 60mph and all the emblems fall off.
Too bad they even call it a 'Jeep' since its not even really designed or intended for off-road use.
I'll take the Porsche Cayenne any day hands down.

bullshit

Also put some corners in the track in question and you will see the Cayenne beat the shit out of that poor SRT-8.

You might want to pick up the latest motortrend....corners didn't help the Cayenne any :winkwink:

Vitasoy 01-19-2006 02:35 AM

Looks pretty good. Not bad.

DutchTeenCash 01-19-2006 02:38 AM

and also worth less then 10% of its original value in say 5 yrs :)

emthree 01-19-2006 02:48 AM

I was actually thinking of getting one. I seen the review on TV. It looks like a great ride for a guy my size. I'm definitely not buying it New though. Probably get one in the second year of production.

imagine how it would look black on black with some 22"s :D
It's either that or the rover.

You can't beat the Jeep for that kinda difference in price.
