Screaming 01-17-2006 08:26 AM

Owned by a bird.. classic...

TheLegacy 01-17-2006 08:27 AM

if anyone has owned an exotic bird as I do - you'll understand how difficult it was to give it away. Feel sorry for the guy, he should sue her

CE_BigB 01-17-2006 08:27 AM

Reminds me of the beer commercial...

where they girl appears real ditzy blondey...
and runs into kitchen to fetch another beer..

guy's cell rings... he says..
"ahh.. shes a real airhead (or something to that nature) but I'm hard up..."

She prances back from kitchen with cold beer and the bird repeats him
"shes a real airhead, but I'm hard up..."

She GLares....

Cut to guy getting thrown out door.... beer in hand...
door opens.. her hand snatches beer bottle right from him and slams door.

one of the best commercials from Last Year!! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

gornyhuy 01-17-2006 08:34 AM

Thats classic - a good reason to not have anything that can talk hanging around - birds, kids, surveillance cameras, etc.

Phoenix 01-17-2006 08:36 AM

man he should have kept that bird...it would have stopped with the name

u-Bob 01-17-2006 09:16 AM

I had one like that. A damn Hawk got it outside. Still sickens me to think about it.

I do have a grey as well (he doesn't go outside). They do pick up a lot of phrases etc. that you would never think they were listening to.

LexiLexxx 01-17-2006 11:15 AM

LMAO, we have an African Grey Parrot.

I know this story is so true, right now our bird, is telling our son (1 yr old) No, No Cayden. He also likes to scream my name, when baby crys.

I would have never gotten rid of the bird, if I was him. Heck is one of the reason's we had our son, because Jake (bird) will out live us. The bird would NOT have said it long.

sickkittens 01-17-2006 08:37 PM

sfera 01-17-2006 09:42 PM

adultchica 01-17-2006 09:46 PM

Funny article, but that is bullshit that he gave up the bird. Could have trained it to say new things.

Vitasoy 01-19-2006 02:04 AM

It was on the news again, and it still cracks me up.. lol

XX_RydeR 01-19-2006 02:29 AM
