Video editor contractors please look here...

I'm looking for the best editor on the market for regular contracts. Please icq or email buddy at flashcash dot com

I also need an answer to this question:
Does it matter if a DV is shot on NTSC or PAL once it has been imported to the PC? IE Can I shoot a dv with NTSC and then produce a DVD in both NTSC and PAL? Do they convert back and forth once they are imported?
Thanks.

His site says he is out of the editing biz and working on his own sites. Anyone else?

My computer with Final Cut Pro and documentation is at my office (and I'm still doing e-mail and checking the boards at home), but as I recall you have to set up your editing software preferences for either NTSC or PAL prior to capturing the video. If so, then you would need to capture the video twice.

So far I have only worked with NTSC video.

Perhaps someone else has a more definitive answer - bump for that.

NTSC is 29.97 and PAL is 25 fps. Also the frame size differs PAL is 720 x 576, you have to convert it from one format to another before importing it.

I have a video editor that I use here in LA. ICQ me if you like 306014014
