The great thing about having a comment feature enabled or having a surfer forum attached to your main site is that more free content is generated without you having to perform the extra effort.

If properly formatted, it can help with SE traffic tremendously.

crazy huh? 5 years ago, the majority of threads on GFY were geared towards making more money. Time to go back to the roots.

Across my blogs, I see so much traffic flowing in from content that I never even created. Many times, the extra comments provide plenty of SE food for the spiders to pick up and index.

whenever I enable comments I always get guys leaving messages like "fuck you nigga" and shit like that. Must just be my shitty traffic

when I open comments I get shitload of comment spamming :(
