I'm doing a story on my blog about how much cam girls are paid. How they are paid and what percentage they make. I need all the info I can get

anywho, cam girls generally make a 50/50 cut and most are making between $500-$5,000 per week depending on what the situation is. I'd say a nice ballpark estimate for the average would be about a grand per week.

Usually, those girls are working for what they call a studio... those girls make FAR less. I thought were were talking 1st world countries here...

$5K a week? Damn near impossible IMHO. When I did PrivateCamz, when I first started my website, I did $700 my first 3 days, but I was new. I see the regular girls who do it day in and day out spending about and hour or so actually making money. So do the math 90 mins a day, 7 days a week, $3 a minute (all high estimates) = less than $1900 a week. My :2 cents: is all.

Allowed? yes, but they obviously don't like it. Besides how many hours a day can you pound yourself with a dildo LOL. This was my experience in what I saw at private camz. Hopefully some of the other girls can chime in and give you additional perspectives.

Yeah, your top cam girls are making $5,000 /week without issues, I know this because I used to have studio with a couple of girls working for iFriends...

The studios? Ehhh, I have heard stories of Romanian and Russina girls making like $40.00/week but I am not sure as to the truth of that. Again, just what I heard.

agreed - it truly depends on the traffic coming in - these girls get harassed every min by assholes - generally if a girl has a good attitude (doesnt have to be adorable) she can make this amount. I worked 5 years in a very popular company that has webcam models - seen girls make everything from 70$ a week to 5000$ - majority average was 400 to 600 a week based on over 50 girls. I cut and handed out the checks so I know. Very few lasted over 3 months.

i know czech studios that pay the girls about 1000 euro a month flat for 40 hours a week. which is about 2 or 3 times what their parents make with their regular jobs.

As for $ amounts, they can vary from $5 to $5,000 per week, depending on the model, of course. Personality goes a lot farther than looks in the webcam market. An average-looking camgirl who knows how to work a chatroom will make more money than a supermodel who doesn't.

Some programs pay 25% up to 50% to the chathosts. Some pay the chathosts when fraud occurs (it's the job of the cam program to make sure fraud doesnt occur more than once with the account) Some programs doc the girls for fraud.

Independent girls can make a killing especially in Eastern Europe where the average monthly male income is $250.00 USD.

Depending on the studio the girls get anywhere from 5% to 5% below the studios cut. Since I run a cam program i would not want a studio working for me that pays the girls little money. This can result in girls allowing fraud.

Many girls do work on multiple cam sites at the same time. This way they are guaranteed to keep busy ;)
