I bet 1% or so, alot of it depends on the join page you use and how familar they are with it and if they had a good or bad experience with the processor.

You can convert 5-10% higher if you have your own merchant account with something like Netbilling, since you can customize the page completely.

That might be interesting data.

However, I think most seasoned surfers know that join pages rarely have exit consoles and will click to them first before they back-arrow to The Hun... Or where ever they get their free pics from.

I would imagine this would vary quite a bit based on billing company and how informed the customer is about what they
need to do to join. We average about 1 in 14 sucessfully signs up.

And of course if it is an Ibill site the card will probably be declined.

CCBill tracks that stuff now if your using the correct signup forms.
