i didnt know that he had actually fought in ufc... i know there was some talk about it, but didnt know that it actually happened... which one was it???

also, i think that gannon didnt really hurt kimbo much... gannon was just able to (incredibly) take the punches from kimbo, until kimbo got tired...

as far as who got the worse end of the stick between gannon and kimbo, i would say that gannon got it waay worse...

did gannon get ko'd or submitted??? i cant imagine someone knocking him out (without it being from a kick) if kimbo couldnt do it...

also, i hear that kimbo has been doing some submission work as of late... he is like chuck liddel i think... if the guy hits you, you are going to be out, either that, or it would mess ya up enough that the ref might have to stop it...

Kimbo is a stand up fighter bro, he has a way before UFC, imho. There is always a puncher's chance, though. I asked if he was still training with the Avellans in Miami, which he said he was. I actually might have a fight for him, just gotta get in touch

Everytime I think I'm a badass, I'm lucky to see Kimbo once or twice a year which gets rids of that silly notion. :)

Maybe you should watch the fight again, Gannon had a flash knock out on Kimbo pretty early in the fight. Kimbo dropped to one knee and then regained his composure.
He didn't lose because he got tired, Gannon landed alot of solid body blows on him. They're both tough sob's, and definitely probably handle most guys they meet on the street.
But top level guys like those in the UFC and Pride are on a whole different level.

I'd love to see Kimbo make a move in either Pride or UFC, but don't worry, he's already thought about that, that should tell us something... Still a very good fighter in my opinion, not much style or technique but great chin and strong blows. Kinda like a black Tank.

it was a long time ago that i seen that fight... i tried searching for it again and cant find it anywhere... oh well... i would still like to see him in some type of mma action to see what would happen... the guy is a tank thats for sure...

come to think of it, kimbo against someone like tank would probably be one hell of a fight.
