Funny Craigslist Experience :::

I posted on Craiglist that I was looking for a wardrobe stylist in LA and in the copy I put an email address and asked anyone interested in this position to email their info to me at that specific email address.

Of the over 50 submissions that I recieved, only 1 of those followed directions and sent their info to the right email address. All the other ones clicked the link that Craigslist has available to send an email (which went to a different email address).

Should I be so surprised that people don't know how to follow directions?

Theyre "wardrobe stylists".... they can pick out a shirt. Don't expect much.

seems like it was easy to make a decision on who to pick.

people from craigslist are idiots (for the most part).

i tried to sell a 17" LCD monitor on there for $200. Was going for about $200 to $230 on ebay, but ebay sucks and i watned the cash quick.

these idiots would email me asking if i wanted to trade a piece of their crap artwork for it. the best was the scammers whos daughter lived in nigera and needed the monitor for college and they would send me a money order and me to fed ex the monitor the day i got the money order... right

however, the best was this idiot that came to my place to check out the monitor. this thing was almost brand new. i bought it on newegg as a monitor for my laptop then realized i didnt want it. i only paid $180 for it tho, so as long as i got my money back id be happy... anyway, jerkoff shows up and says he'll take it, but he only had $80 on him and he would paypal me the rest when he got home. he then got pissed and insulted me cause i wouldnt give it to him. F* buddy!

then a lady came over and wanted the reciept and shit for it. then said to me how i should sell it to her for $150 or she would expose me as a fraud cause this monitor is only worth that. told her to F* off too.

Finally sold hte pos 4 weeks later to some kid. said he only had $160 on him, and i said "get out" then hes like, well ok, i have the other $40. he emailed me a few days later saying he didnt want it anymore and wants his $200 bucks back.. im not bestbuy, and i sure as hell aint giving him his money back.

craigslist can be either great or like a nightmare. Most people do not listen and click the anon link that they provide. That makes things crazy if you have an account with them and you are making adds for different types of services.
