Funny. Remember a few years ago when the blacks in Zimbabwe took over white farms?

Now Zimbabwe has a severe shortage of food and millions are in need of help from the World Food Program.

This was written up in National Geographic a year or two ago. Very interesting. I haven't been following it since I read about it then but apparently things haven't gotten any better.

You'd have to be a retard to not see this one coming. There are black people that can farm. They're the ones that were employed by the farm owners. Problem is, when the "veterans" (some aged about 18, from a war that happened 26 years ago.. go figure) came and took over the farms, they fired the black workers. The result? Nobody that knew what the fuck they were doing. And hell, there were already millions of zimbabweans starving at that point.

As chodadog said, you could see this coming. Re-claiming farms in the manner it was done was wrong and resulted in what is happening there today. It was brutal and short-sighted. It has nothing to do with race and inherent ability. Blacks can farm and Zimbabwe had agricultural systems in pre-colonial times.

So why doesn?t Bush invade Zimbabwe.. The evidence is clear ? Mugabe is bad.. very bad man.

Noone in history has ever invaded, or should I say LIBERATED, a country with nothing to gain from it.

I've got a good friend who owned one of those farms. They shot his sons and wife, beat him into a hospital, then threw him in jail for 7 years for doing nothing but owning a farm in South Africa and being nothing but white.

Fuck 'em, they get what they deserve.

Subsistence farming with lots of small independent plots was never going to provide the same yield as big commercial farms.

Africa is a festering shithole...
