Anyone have one of those scanner/printer/fax all in one machines?
What kind do you have? Do you like it? Problems? Pros? Cons?
|
Pros: i don't have to do the work myself
Cons: after sending my girlfriend to run all those errands, chances of sex are slim :1orglaugh |

I have an HP Officejet. It's perfect for what I need it for, the only trouble I had with it was when I moved. The shifting must have knocked it out of alignment, but I just called up HP and they sent me a new one.

If you're only occasionally printing, faxing, or scanning, they work well. However, if you do any sort of volume on either, separating the tasks out is suggested.
Personally, I use my computer to send and receive faxes. I connect it up to the phone line and use the Microsoft Faxing software (free). I use my good quality scanner to scan in the odd document that I need to fax. Printing is usually higher volume for me. I have a good quality inkjet printer for photos and an ok laser printer for reaming off b/w invoices and stuff. |
