Okay, maybe you don't get it but it means if they allow this new domestic spying agenda to continue it has again gained unprecedented powers that legally are a major danger. Why? Sure the President thinks it's necessary. He thought the intelligence on Iraq was necessary too.

We cannot allow for one iota our birthrights to be mishandled. It opens the door to corruption and misuse that is already at an unprecedented level. If the House and Senate were clean goody two shoes types it might be allowable but they're already under one of the largest investigations already.

No, this is what Thomas Jefferson warned us about over 200 years ago. We're being controlled and abused by sinister monetary forces using the color of authority to do so.
