Harddrive set up, sata vs ata
 

Ok I read a couple threads on the Sata hard drives and have a question. I need to reinstall windows on this computer but all my information is on the sata drive so if I can save time and install windows on the normal drive and use the sata drive as a seperate drive than that would work great. As far as getting an advantage out of the sata drive, will it still be good as a secondary drive or should it be the drive of windows? Also how does all that raid stuff work? Windows is installed on the sata drive right now and I am not noticing much difference in video / photo editing speeds...
