Info on a cheating bastad

If you run a tgp or submit to one this might be helpful. After I was done reviewing galleries I noticed my homepage had been changed. True it was only to Yahoo but I think that's only because things didn't work out the way the cheat wanted them too. So I went back through the galleries one at a time and zeroed in on this one. I think it's the freehost but can't figure out how it's being done. Probably serverside. So I blacklisted every domain they have.

This is the freehost.

Thanx Woody

Anyone else? I've tried it 5 times and every time my homepage is switched to Yahoo. I'm running IE 5.5

LoveAsianChicks 04-10-2002 10:46 AM

did you download the lastest version or IE or the patch to prevent homepage hyjackings?

I heard it was illegal to change someones computer settings without their permission. Is that correct?

Viper2K1 04-10-2002 10:50 AM

it's a homepage-changer alright

I got the error about such script being on the page, but i ignored it just to check and had my homepage changed + 8 bookmarks added

-> blacklisted

Is this a new one or is the same old one that only affects IE5.5 and below?
