What a crappy book. I'm debating whether to burn it or ask for a refund. I surely don't want to contribute to getting it in someone else's hands by giving it away...

I just started reading it actually. I kinda wonder if he's full of shit in some of it...

I read that TSG article a couple days ago, and since I haven't been able to read another page.

Yea driving home was a fuckin' task, that's for sure. Plus it got windy as hell and I kept thinking I was going to get blown off the road. I'll post the pics I took when I get a chance.

How can you say that? It's his memoir... not yours. Unless you were there to witness said events then you are hardly qualified to dispute them. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the events are glorified or trumped up but I still found it to be a great book.

Did you read the fucking link? He's been found as BS and the publisher is even giving refunds.

Just read that TSG article - and if you haven't read the book; it reads like any fratboy's trumped up recollection of manly deeds and machismo.

There are police reports that specifically contradict the events he describes in the book.
