Not that I'm super rich or anything, but I often don't know what to do with all the cash coming in and endup leaving it in my zero interest checking account for months until I invest it in some stocks. Do you always know where to spends your money?

Well I would look into emigrant direct or ING instead of your regular savings, at least that way it is there if you need it but gaining 4% as well. -
