Our new car - hot Pursuit! [PICS]

2006 Pontiac Pursuit - 2.2litre (stealth blue)

With a tailwind and a 2 min. headstart it can whip a Bugatti Veyron in the mile.

Fits 17 bags of groceries in the trunk, too - bonus!

looks like a normal pontiac or mid sized car

BigCashCrew 01-14-2006 06:43 PM

Pontiac is a good car. My first car was a 96 Grand Prix. It was nice.
I like the new GTO. That looks like a nice car.

Omg

it's totally cool you got a new car! but driving a pontiac says to me you are struggling in some aspect of your life or you just don't know what a good car company is :1orglaugh

Wow!

I'm thoroughly impressed.

Without concerning yourself about knowing anything further about me, you were able to draw that entire conclusion entirely based on one photo... of one car.

1. Its called the practicality of raising a family.
2. Its not a company car.
3. 21 posts in one year and you've now reached the pinnacle of your brilliance.

I love my 2001 Chevy Impala 9C1. Too bad I have to replace the CV Joints and the front wheel hub bearings... The new Impalas have always had notoriously weak front ends for some reason...

Grats to you I guess?

Manowar 01-15-2006 09:46 AM

I'm a Pontiac guy but I'm a bit embarrassed by the look of the new GTO. They should have just called it something else. :(

From what I hear, its only available in the Canadian market so far. It replaced the discontinued Pontiac Sunfire - and is based on the same powertrain and chassis. It handles much like the Sunfire (my wife had one which she smashed up a few months back).

We bought two of 'em recently, a silver one for the wife and I picked up the blue one. They're much better on fuel economy than my F150 V8 triton, which is what we wanted.

je_rome 01-15-2006 06:02 PM

looks okay to me but you could have gotten a mercedes instead

Heh...likely.

I'm the first to admit they're mostly econo shitboxes, but its only one of three vehicles we currently own.

Probably just a Pontiac version of the Chevy Cobalt. Like the Sunfire was to the Cavalier.
