What are your toughts on cell phone porn?
 

I read a post here that said it will be the big thing in 2006.

Do you really want the person drivin' the car in the lane next to you watchin' porn on their cell?

On the positive side, all those tiny cell phone screens will provide a boon to optometrists.

I wont mind as long as they enter the cc number on the join form ;)

Oddly, I can see how it will do very well and yet I can't envision a single instance when I'd ever want to be watching porn on my phone.

This is exactly how I feel about it. It just doesn't make logical sense, but then again neither does VOD when you have all you can eat porn for $24.95.

I think its going to hit but not as soon as everyone thinks but it wont take real long either

I fully expect cell phones and other small screen devices to standardize to H.264 (ipod)

I also expect them to start combining the features of phones, video ipods, audio ipods, gps and a buncha other shit

take it with you on the road and take your music, your porn as well as your phone and play it on the hotel TV

The GPS stuff is where its really gonna get weird, Think Im looking to meet a female within a mile of me right now who is looking to meet someone like me....ring....

I have an arab friend that told me it is huge in the Middle East because they like to keep pron on the down low.

I think that some of the companies are going to end up getting sued on several different levels for the phone sites

I think the whole point of cellphone porn is to get it 'dialer-like' so they don't have to put in a CC-number, but send and SMS or such. I think using phone as a payment method rather than as the object into which the porn is loaded to is gonna take off.

I don't understand it either. Why would someone want to look at porn while out in public? And then on such a small screen?

I don't get it.. but like someone said above, it's supposedly really popular overseas. Is this only in countries where porn is taboo?

The only scenario that I could imagine, is college guys pulling out there camera at parties and showing their friends some crazy porn. Maybe the niche market will be big for this reason?
