Has Anyone Seen The Movie Hostel?
 

Usually I think horror films are a joke. New horror flicks suck and are cheesy. This however looks pretty scary. Who has seen this? Will it scare someone who doesn't get scared in horror films?

haven't seen it but heard it's pretty scary and worth the $7. so will see it soon.

It's definitely not "scary"... more gore than anything. The first half of the movie is pretty much a T and A fest and the second half is just plain gore. The story is pretty lame, too.

While I didn't feel like I wasted my money seeing it, it's not something I'm going to ever suggest to anyone.

I guess Gore will do the job then. Scary movies don't get me, but gory movies do. I'll take my Fiance to see it. :) thanks for the info!

Compared to all of the other completely shitty movies that came out in the past 5 years, this was good. It isn't scary but you won't leave feeling ripped off.

the torture scenes will scare me I think :)

This is the only movie I've ever seen that I almost walked out on; the first part was realllllllly boring. It did pick up the pace eventually, but the ending was for lack of a better word, stupid. It didn't wrap up many of the subplots. I was expecting another 20 minutes of film when the credits started rolling.

Yeah, seen it the other day. Wasn't really impressed with it. I think it could have been done a lot better. Their was a lot of tits but it took way too long to get to the horror part.

It sucks and isn't scary at all. Don't waste your time or money. :2 cents:
