Estee Lauder model CAROLYN MURPHY's ex-husband has been arrested after he reportedly tried to sell their honeymoon sex tape.

JAKE SCHROEDER has been charged with extortion after being arrested last Thursday (05JAN06) and was held behind bars for five days in California before being released on $33,000 (£18,000) bail.

Schroeder's bail money has been put up by the Internet Commerce Group (ICG) - the company trying to market the two-hour long video.
Arizona police raided the offices of ICG last Friday (06JAN06) and seized the original camcorder footage Schroeder is alleged to have tried to sell.

DAVID GRINGAS, ICG's lawyer, tells PageSix.com, "Our position is that no crime has been committed. You cannot commit extortion by offering to sell something you own.

celebrity sex tapes are played out. unless its going to be lindsay lohan or some other very young taboo girl who is at the top of her game at the time (like paris hilton was at the original time the news broke), most sex tapes wont do a ton of volume except at the very beginning. and as more and more tapes are released, the value gets smaller and smaller.

other than pam anderson, and paris hilton, all the rest havent really stuck.

i heard about the carolyn murphy thing a couple months ago and nothing ever materialized.

i'm still making a living from sex tapes and they paid for all my trips last year, so they're definetely not played out ;)
