If you are constantly moving around, how do you deal with all your checks?
From the dozens of sponsors you use..
Do you go and manually change your info for all of em? Or is there an easier way to make sure you get all your checks |
ePassporte is nice but not all sponsors offer it. Maybe you should stick with wire transfers if you move around that much.
|
setup a PoBox and send them there.
|
1. dont move too often
2. use wires or epassporte instead of checks 3. use only a few sponsors :winkwink: |
I use epassporte... And checks go to a PO BOX... You can go to a medium sized mailboxes etc. clone and ask the owner if you can pay a premium price for him/her to forward your mail to you, where ever you are... ie, out of state, city to city.. etc...
|
i would consider epass if you havent already
|
I have moved often and am signed up to literally HUNDREDS of sponsors. And yes, I have to go through them, one by one and change my address at them all each time.
Now I own my house, no more moving. |
badly...
|
go to the post office, they can do a mail forward that lasts 6 months
|
I use Epassporte when I can, otherwise I just have them all sent to Michigan where someone cashes them for me. :2 cents:
|
with poboxes, can you set one up and get em to forward your stuff whereever you are?
|
We got one P.O. Box which get all the checks, just get the mail forwarded
once a while. I'm too lazy to do checks regulary anyway. Last month we delivered 110 checks to the bank at the same time, it's a fucking drag signing them all. But it's money, so what can you do... |

It's not that complicated. (Just noticed you are in Alberta, so my post may not apply to you.) |
Wires and Epassporte. There's no reason to do anything else.
This may be elementary but you should incorporate and if you don't have an office keep a p.o. box at all times. A lot of them will forward your mail to whatever your current address is. |
