George Foreman Grill - Got One?
 

Just wondered if any of you guys enjoy your GF Grill as much as I enjoy mine :winkwink:

I just replaced mine with the new one that has the lift-out grill plates. So much easier to clean now :thumbsup

I had one but never used it. Sold it in a yard sale.. lmao

I have a grill out on my patio that I use occasionally but I use my GF grill quite a bit. Mostly chicken breasts, steaks and burgers :thumbsup

Yep. Won mine from ARS' Rewards Program 5 years ago (2001).

I don't see George promoting it anymore? Nor do I see him promoting that muffler company anymore either.

George was a great boxer, who would have thought he would be an even better promoter!!

Yeah I use my Weber grill all the time.

I like mine, would like the new one you can take the things out and wash though.

Me and my gf use ours all the time.

I love mine.

How do the hamburgers taste on it compared to a regular grill?

I hated mine. Gave it to the charity place down the road. I'd rather cook on the charcoal grill in the cold and rain - just tastes SO much better :(

Use the bf's all the time, but it's a mini. I got the big Hamilton Beach one with the removable plates with my airmiles. :) Love it to bits!

the george foreman grill reminds me of The Office episode from this past Thursday

It is one of the greatest inventions of all time. For any single guy who can't cook worth shit, it is a must.

I am planning to build a serious "skotel" or "braai" in my garden this year.
I am South African so ........... I cannot do without a BBQ.
My parents left SA when I was 1 year old so maybe this is just an idea ......... or maybe ..............

george made so much money with those.. I read he sold 80 million worldwide.. if he made a few bucks from each one... that's a lotta money

I had one of the small 0nes for about 3 years. I used it so much I wore all of the non-stick surface off it lol Threw it away last summer and havent replaced it yet. If and when I do ill get one of the ones with removable plates

I saw an interview with Ron Popeil in FHM magazine a few months ago. He said he got offered the grill before they offered it to George Foreman. He turned them down for some reason. Said he didnt regret it at all. He said hes got close to 100 mill in the bank already

I have one...use it almost every night. Its not nearly as good as a gas grill, but much better than a broiler. You have to be real careful with cooking times or it will dry things out. I can't imagine having one without the detachable grills...that would be a pain in the ass to clean!

I only cook chicken on it.

Saw someone here the other day say there were going to cook up some steaks on it.

What a waste of good red meat.

i used to use it to cook burgers and hotdogs. the hotdogs were fine but it i never cared for the taste it gave the burgers. no comparison to the bbq.

sure ... but used it only 1 time.

I have one and use it a lot less than I would if I had the new easy to clean model

I've had one for about a year now. Use it to cook everything I used to pan fry. The grill is great.

I use mine every morning for bacon. I put some bacon on every night before I go to sleep, then I wake up around 6AM and plug in the grill and go back to sleep. A few minutes later I wake up to the smell of cooking bacon, it's good for you!

But a few days ago I got up and I was tired and I accidentally stepped on the grill and it slammed shut on my foot.

I use my for cooking steaks - never had a problem? What kind of problem have you had cooking steaks on yours?

we used to have one a few years back but it got to be a pain in the ass to clean. i wish they had the new plates way back then.
now we have our own huge gas grill that we can use. :)

I still have mine, dont really use it that much anymore.

Argh, you guys with your GF grills and gas grills are SO missing out on good food. Get yourself a nice Weber, some hardwood charcoal (not the crap from the grocery store) and you'll thank me :)

I did 6 chicken beasts today. Absolutely perfect. Conbined with some black beans and yellow rice with sauteed spinach cuban style.

Ricky Ricardo would be proud.
