...Pulitzer prizes. Surprise surprise. :)
Not to offend you US guys, but are you surprised that NY magazine wins pulitzers on 911? I'm not saying they aren't good shit, but..umm.. nevermind. The same magazine won 50% of all pulitzers.

Comparing the NY Times to most other newspapers is not fair. For example, in NY, the Post and the Daily News are written on about the 5th grade reading level. If that. They are tabloids catering to the unwashed masses.

The Times might be approaching 8th-10th grade level. It is a different class of writing. Also, the Sunday Times is gigantic. You can get a hernia carrying it home.

too much words in the NY times IMO.. i usually like to look at pictures so i read the post, daily news, newsday

but if i was to be looking for a nice decent job, i'd pick up the times :)
