Canadian politics = Who screwed up more.
 

I swear, 99% of the election advertisements are all about who has screwed up the country more.

The liberals say the conservatives did, the conservatives say the liberals did, the ndp says that they did it themselves...

what ever happened to making promises to make things better... rather than just point the blame to who is at fault?

Stupid politics. I wish our system was more like the US's system where you essentially choose between a party that likes war and one that doesn't. :winkwink:

I would like to have the option of starting my own party open, just in case.

Problem is ... our country isn't screwed up ... doing better then ever actually...

Yup... go figure. And yet all they can do is finger point and bash each other. I swear, watching election ads is like reading gfy sometimes.

My husband made that comment last night actually - he's European and this is the first election he's really seen TV ads for. He was like *Holy CRAP they're vicious here*

so saying the liberals screwed up is silly...

they're not perfect but it could be much much worse

Everybody is trying to buy votes too. The Conservatives came close to buying my vote yesterday by saying they would eliminate the capital gains tax. I hate Harper but that one is pretty tempting I must admit.

ie: "I'm not stupid! You're stupid! And you do Stupdier things than I do"

"Yea well I might be stupid but you're an idiot! And do more idiotic things than I do."

You know all we have to do is play some hippie music, let them cash in their Freedom 55 packages when they turn 50 and give them bonus air miles...

And all our political problems will vanish. As they fly to Cancun or movie into their parents Florida homes.
