He doesn't sound like a friend, he sounds like a pusher trying to get you hooked. They give you the first taste for free and then when you're a raging dope fiend they charge you so much money for the stuff you'll be kicking the gold filings out of your grandma's head and robbing 7-11 stores. Don't do it.

What you do is cut it into very small chunks (like the size of salt grains) and sprinkle it on top of the weed and smoke it like that. Smoking just hash alone is no fun. It doesn't taste good but it get's you REALLY fucked up. I use it more like an enhancer to put on top of the bowl. Try it like that and I guarantee good results. :thumbsup
